please forgive me if i'm asking question has been answered before, couldn't find in searches.  currently joomla set in own folder url's include /joomla/...  i'm looking way avoid mention of folder.  i've seen plenty of joomla sites have simple url.  site i'm working on has url - http://www.hwcsc.info/joomla/ .  find way make go directly http://www.hwcsc.info .  know can redirect via htaccess file, wonder happens when did deeper website?  example, if go news, url turns http://www.hwcsc.info/joomla/component/option,com_newsfeeds/itemid,7/ handful.  have seo friendly links set, see no real difference? thanks in advance the best solution move joomla public root (move 1 level).  don't forget change livesite in configuration. i've reinstalled cf 8 on mac 10.4 server because of problems connecting mysql database using dwcs3 located on macbook pro client. cf8 had no problems in launching on mac 10.4 server before changed mysql datasource/connector setup , jdbc driver 1.5 1.4.; thinking problem in connecting db. i've created datasource connection in dwcs3 , successful data update. dwcs3 not show connections. binding tab shows recordsets, , server behaviors tab shows recordset, & dynamic attributes etc. dwcs3 database tab shows every connection except data source. background information: 1. 2 servers 10.4, 10.5, clients 10.5 , windows computers. 2. windows using dw8 & cfmx7 works great, on problems both services on 1 machine. have yet upgrade cfmx7 8. but mac's, can't started, @ times connections work minute. but, inconsistence crazy. want connection on mac's ds3 , cf8. i've tried using wsdl approach no success. mac 10.4 server houses coldfusion 8 , mysql 5. using 1.4 jdbconnect

hello, ubuntu makes me sad. have brother dcp-7040 multifunction printer. i've installed drivers vendors website, , after fiddling usb permissions have printer can scan well. printing, not well. can print test page, trying print multiple page document causes issues. first page print fine, possibly second or third, printer print half page thats distorted big black lines, , starts shooting out blank pages seems forever. i've installed printer in windows xp virtualbox, , same issue occurs. hook printer directly windows box , works should. can point me in direction? driver issue? same happens in virtualbox, mean not driver problem? virtualbox use windows drivers print? wrong cups? usb? our flex app called coldfusion/html, , when app finishes, need refresh page app on update images. unfortunately, seems there bug in navigatetourl makes ineffective in firefox. we tried workaround try call javascript refresh page, doesn't work either, on production server. the strange thing is, works fine local developer's environment. run app, when finishes, in example below, browser hits google's homepage fine. but when put app on production server, not running js refresh. doesn't report security or other errors, either. hallo freunde. ich habe in meinem riffaquarium 2 strömungspumpen, die über den arduino gesteuert werden, das die pupen im wechsel alle 30 min. gehen. da mir eine der pumpen ausgefallen ist habe ich mir eine baugleiche bestellt. jedoch habe ich mit dieser pumpe probleme. ab und läuft die pumpe verkehrt herum, dann saugt sie das wasser statt es ab zu stoßen. jett ist mir irgendwann die nacht ein anemonen fisch angesaugt worden und geschreddert worden. hat man die möglichkeit da irgend etwas mit der elektronik zu machen das sowas nicht passiert, oder könnte mann die laufrichtung über den arduino abfragen. denn wenn ich die pumpe wenn sie falsch herum läuft kurz vom strom nehme und wieder anstelle , dann läuft sie wieder normal. ich weis ja nicht ob das irgendwie zu bewerkstelligen ist, ansonsten müsste ich mir eine neue holen. denkst du nicht, du solltest uns verraten, welchen typ von pumpe du einsetzt? im hellsehen sind wir leider nicht sehr gut. es wäre au

i'm using labview program control arduino uno through serial commands. arduino rx flashing, not sending should. having problem 6 different computers running windows xp, vista, 7, , 8 , using 5 different unos , mega. able communicate arduinos on computers before labview code ran. once ran code communication stopped working. code has worked though on multiple arduinos , computers. make suggestions on settings might worth checking labview or device interface side? help. are having trouble uploading sketch uno?  or trouble communicating between uno , labview? hello, i have spent lot of time trying find out appropriate application, many people seem dismiss idea of using encoder stepper. i building cnc wire cutter/stripper, using linkage mechanism in conjuction sparkfun stepper motor generate linear motion drives stripper blades. have encoder know if step missed. microstepping stepper @ 1/16, .11 degrees resolution. easy attach motor. sparkfun had encoders told me werent designed used stepper motors. what recommended stepper encoder combination? budget $50, reliable stepper motor isnt low quality, torque isnt of problem. also, homing sensor the  linear travel, needs can instantly return position isnt off more .0005". thanks, brian i'm not sure if makes sense talk getting  rotary shaft encoder , stepper motor on budget of $50. should give idea how encoder cost: https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results?term=rotary+shaft+encoder  the stepper motor story. hello raspberry pi community since relatively new raspberry pi business, expecting (solvable) troubles trying work. however, stuck on first trouble stood upon. here wrong: title suggests own brand new raspberry pi 2 model b, , purchased necessary components run it i.e. sd card (64gb class 1), 5v 2.0a usb power supply, hdmi cable , micro usb connection cable. before installing linux distributions on sd card, had decided start off noobs on raspberry, downloaded system image site, , followed instructions in instructions-readme file. when done, , seemed grand put in sd card raspberry, connected mouse , keyboard,plugged tv via hdmi cable, , connected power supply it. when of done, had connected power supply mains, , happened act led lits green (it not flashing) and pwr led lits red. keyboard , mouse not working not allowing me change display mode. what's worst of raspberry makes awfully loud, high pitched noise. did research on issue on forum, , i've found thread
