Gradient Tool No Worky

when create gradient , fill it, gradient transform tool works perfectly. other times, click on gradient fill gradient transform tool , gradient selected if clicked "selection tool."
i can't gradient transform tool give me handles adjust gradient once applied.

please advise.

try zooming stage 25% or less , see if see handles.
