hallo erst mal alle, ich möchte mit meinem arduino uno und einem ethernet shield einen ton aufnehmen (länger als 10min) evtl. auch mit einem mikrofon.  jetzt hab ich schon ein wenig gegooglt und folgendes gefunden: http://www.elv.ch/velleman-audio-shield-fuer-arduino-ka02.html das problem ist nur, dass man damit nur 60s aufnehmen kann. gibt es vlt. eine möglichkeit auf die sd-karte die daten zu speichern?! oder sonst irgendwas anderes um töne aufzunehmen? vielen dank schon mal im voraus! ist alles eine frage der audioqualität. wenn du nur irgendwie 8bit gequietsche mit 8000hz haben möchtest/brauchst, kannst du das direkt mit dem integrierten adc machen. klingt dann aber halt besch***en. besser wirds, wenn du einen externen adc samt verstärker z.b. einen spi-adc anschließt, da brauch dein arduino dann nur noch die bits/bytes von links nach rechts durchreichen Arduino Forum > International

hi have sound working fine on dell laptop (with ubuntu 9.04). when adjusting volume, pretty 'adjustment' happens @ top end of scale - if decrease volume 3/4 mark using volume control applet (or other software-based volume control tool) audible volume goes zero. ie practical purposes bottom 3/4 of volume scale = 0 , real volume adjustment takes place in top 1/4. additionally, because 'real' volume change occurs in tiny range of controller, hard make fine-grained volume adjustments - tiny move becomes huge jump in sound or jump 'too loud' silence. know if possible change way volume control maps 'real' volume full range of software volume control used? hope post clear - know there's more precise terminology i'm trying describe. many in advance pete bump. anyone? my video camera supposedly produces 16:9 aspect ratio, after creating avi file, , importing movie flash, using robert reinhardt's aspect ratio tables still see thin black line @ top , bottom of screen. the size want use reinhardt's table 512x288...but original video looks more 512x280 (thus small black bars @ top , bottom of screen). anybody know what's going on here? can't see loss of quality straying little exact 16:9 ratio. the issue there camera produce overhead around actual content, shoot content showing on tv set , there need aware of safe frames, outside of safe frames might not shown on tv set.. today need crop black borders out in editing tool rid of them.when using premiere, can crop bit out in output panel. i have made remote control scoreboard, based on previous ones, due oversight, , burning midnight oil, forgot fit normal  standby button ( switch off displays when not in use ) i supposed unit out today, , don't have time add pushbutton , reprint decal ( needs strip down of 16 bcd switches ) @ crossroads , finally  have made sort of ftdi cable $4 usb adaptor, plugged in @ receiver on left, can see socket dangling remote - godsend , wish had mentioned before :-) right, have been trying do, have receiver/display unit go standby if update button held on second. the remote repeatedly transmits, on receive side, there gap between each  receive. if (vw_get_message(buf, &buflen)) // non-blocking i know there must way set timer on first receive, , somehow make "standby" go high if there not second between them, cant see ( 16 hours sleep since last weekend ! ) any suggestions ? here's code debris commented out have tried :- note time (millis)

i've been running dual boot system 6-8 months (xp pro + unbuntu 8.04) no big problems, want add vista ultimate mix me software testing. before adding vista, boot removable drive instead of hdd. have 3 options: ide super drive (ls-120) usb super drive (ls-120) usb flash drive mb doesn't have built in floppy controller. have spent hours looking best approach, don't see clear direction , have not been able format super drive media. questions three: 1) approach adding vista, keeping xp , hardy? so, i've been toying project idea thinking various ways might done , wondering feasibility. 1 of core bits of functionality take 1 or more dp/dvi/hdmi video connections , them pi. there plenty of ways *analog* video capture devices connected via usb, digital video capture devices tend far more expensive. moreover, want less clunky external usb dongle. there folks out there have tried via csi , understand it, hasn't work out because pi's csi expecting camera, not clean digital video. in more general sense then, i'm looking way take dp/dvi/hdmi video in, encode h.264, , send pi via on 40-pin header. spi seems choice. i'm not sure how feasible is. can tell, 1080p30, encoded h.264 going take on order of 8 mbps @ reasonable quality. should fit within range of pi's spi capabilities appear (if i'm reading correctly) able handle 32 mhz. might possible handle multiple such streams simultaneously. there's more fundamental question of how go finding e
