Problem with shutting down - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello!

i've been having old fiddle pi, , running problem. when try shutdown or reboot command line (via ssh), message:

code: select all

# reboot usage: init {-e var[=val] | [-t seconds] {0|1|2|3|4|5|4|s|s|q|y|axaxb|b|c|c|u|u}}

idea why? have tried (successfully) sendmail working, couple of libraries depended on seemed giving me segfaults, that's uninstalled. else causing issue? how can track down?
