New RP2B HDMI working, no audio - Raspberry Pi Forums

i think i'm testing correctly. i've tried using aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/noise.wav , acts plays, nothing heard. i've tried 2 different hdmi cables. below edid dump , tvservice settings.

monitor model number lg 25um55-p. i've disabled overscan , fills entire screen, looks pretty good!

it's running in cea mode , can detect audio, can't hear anything...

ps. of post, pi date, apt-get upgrade / update , rpi-update

oh man, please shoot me. thing doesn't have speakers.... headphone jack (on monitor on hdmi) plays audio perfectly.
