Install instructions for use of Apache/PHP/MySQL

i have gone xampp route twice no avail. want use php mysql within dw8. assume need install apache since server set way. can point me in right direction, please.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
