Thread: Problems with Starcict-multiple dictionaries

i have downloaded stardict use dictionnary (using synaptic) not understand quite how works.it seems comes default chinese-english dictionary (the authors of software chinese). , have download dictionaries want use. did longman english dictionary when wanted situate in right folder: usr/share/stardict/dic access denied , couln't it.
besides, program seems listening on port 2628 , had kill process several times let stop. not quite working it.
knowing more me?

what correct syntax of mv command move file desktop usr/share/stardict/dic using terminal sudo privilege?

sudo mv filename originalplace destinationplace ?
