Migrate part from Development to Production - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have joomla installation on 1 (development) machine , totally different installation on production machine.

i want take parts (what working on) development , migrate them production server.

how should this. i'm new joomla.

running joomla , apache2triad mysql, php, apache

so want able take th information stored in database tables, whatever parts of joomla template, etc, i've changed.

there learning curve, have found phpeclipse (http://www.phpeclipse.de) best development tool php. has synchronization feature allows sychronize local development sites remote production sites. uses ftp underlying transport mechanism. worth taking look.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
