Thread: insmod on boot

hey -

i'm having hardest time getting driver load on boot. here's deal.

pc/104 stack running ubu8.04. i've got devicenet card which, when issue following command:

code:
sudo insmod applicomio.ko irq=6
all well! device
code:
/dev/ac
created, driver appears on lsmod, , card shows when cat /proc/interrupts.

i've tried work on boot placing "applicomio" line in /etc/modules file, added file, applicomio, /etc/modprobe.d/ directory following contents:

options applicomio irq=6

, placed applicomio.ko file in /lib/modules/'uname -r' directory per modprobe 8, yet, when reboot, no love. i'm *sure* i'm overlooking. appreciated. thanks!!
