New small producer web site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'd present new web site did friend of mine : http://www.monteberiot.com

here details:
- joomla 1.0.10 (i know, upgrade 1.0.11 soon)
- custom-made template, fixed header , side menus areas. rounded corners niftycorners library
- english/french (joomfish 1.7)
- modified letterman component, handle multi-lingual newsletter (subscriber gets email in language selected when he/she subscribes)
- modified artio sef component (called sh404sef) better multi-lingual handling (no duplicate content, iso code inserted in url, translated urls), including modified version of joomfish 1.7 language selection module
- modified joomlacomment 2.33 compoment, bugfixes, , non-utf8 ajax handling (requires mbstings module)
- modified rd-rss feed manager handle rss feed (bilingual, automatic!). changes : hyperlinks stays active when users receive feed, , images left in message well.
- horizontal menu module, custom-dev (called shhmenu)
- custom dev javascript slideshow module (called shsmoothslideshow)

what still needs done
- more pictures
- menu module not compatible opera 9
- not tested in ie7, please tell me how works.

- modified version of letterman , rd-rss needs packaged. have communicated changes authors (did same artio sef) can use changes made if whish so. post them on forge, time-permitting

thank shumisha excellent showcase introduction!  when offer kind of details, gives rest of better idea of comment on 

i think you're doing fine job original template.  soothing colours.  header quite good, simple effective.

had peek in ie7 , didn't notice issues template.  actually, i've been pleasantly surprised ie7 overall.

a few comments have:

• there seems lot of unused space.  have feeling site more complete content , images added
• for rounded corners recommend using images or css.  niftycube script nice when you're using rounded corners everything, find it's little heavy (almost 9kb) use couple of containers.  site loads right now, if start adding images , content may want reconsider using nc might cause unnecessary lag in load time.
• the green underline overlapping font on headings , in right side container.  not sure if that's intentional or not, find compromises clarity of text.
• the heading in blog (words of monteberiot) section not line on left text in other sections
