Thread: How to use the Wu chinese input system to type simplified characters

i have been learning shanghainese few weeks , today learned ubuntu had input system (wu)!! surprised me since dialect quite happy. used type shanghainese using pinyin output system , easier think in language while writing it. drawback outputs traditional characters while simplified characters used in shanghai. there way use wu input system type simplified characters?
