Question about resistor tolerance

hello,

i have led needs 125ohm resistor. not have value available want close number possible. if used 2 resistors, 22ohm+-5% , 100ohm+-5% work? know base value 122 tolerance cover difference?

my logic:
22 + 5% = 23.1
22 - 5% = 20.9
100 + 5% = 105
100 - 5% = 95

does mean ohm amount between 115.9 , 128.1? if so, damage led on time because tolerance lower minimum of 125 or led ok because tolerance can higher 125?

for average led should plenty good, ±5% hardly make difference tolerance stack.
