Help for Humanoid Robot Project

i chose arduino mega able make other projects in future , because provides 15pwm.
so "problem" this, project cost: €385.95(without iva) €467.00(with iva). know hobby not cheap,  i'm not sure if can choose other mechanic parts or make project cheaper. project not have arms, , saw robot : http://www.robotshop.com/eu/en/rq-huno-robotic-humanoid-kit.html cost me similar , have arms (important humanoid haha).
so want ask advice.
