Pausing a for loop to wait for result
i trying cycle through array , send each element database, don't want next element sent until previous element has returned result. not sure how in actionscript? ideas?
if array large take while each single element represent single http exchange. if subsequent values being sent not changing result of each individual one's response server inclined send them @ once. (within reason... if there huge amount perhaps helpful split them also).
you you're describing using loadvars or xml (depends on data type in each array element, , on preference) , using sendandload method send server script processes each element , send response sendandload method's receiving target argument (usually same type: either loadvars or xml). start sequence again in receiving object's onload handler. check out of examples loadvars.sendandload or xml.sendandload in files.
or may want investigate remoting (e.g. amfphp etc)
