Images getting replaced when reviewing project

i @ wits end. have 88 slide test involves lot of .jpg images inserted question slides. @ end of test have software simulation in assessment mode student maneuver around accordingly. that's things funky. different images placed shouldn't be. , when go edit slide, shows correct slide, when preview project incorrect.

i have cleaned out library, , restarted computer, luck. hoping can help. thanks!!

for starters, perhaps pare number of slides down? break project 2 different projects. @ end of one, open other.

i've never heard of captivate rearranging images. i'm not saying can't happen, i've never seen or seen reported here. don't have images hidden? @ timeline in column below icon of eye. have x? if so, means object hidden view, still included in final result.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
