Admin area problems - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm new joomla user. installed can't believe can't user area. please - can - username , password thought had don't work. can new ones?

i've come across similar problem  , reply in forum , realise 'admin' username - don't remember seeing anywhere in instructions. anyway, i'm in now, thanks. have another, mysql, problem - shortly!
