Macromedia Extension Manager Problems on Vista

hi, i'm experiencing problem in using macromedia extension manager 1.7. when run application, windows prompted me kernel files dont work or missing. when tried reinstall application, windows prompted me there error accessing macromedia_extension_manager.msi file , stops installation. curse windows vista!!!! i'm experiencing hell of problems. wish there here me. in advance.

if @ system requirements em 1.7, vista not mentioned ..
therefore, assuming perhaps vista not supported.
assume have dw 8 .. don't know if dw8 run on em 1.8 or not,
that em on see vista mentioned in system requirements,
perhaps version necessary.

sorry can't more don't have vista .. , more hear,
more think not have time soon!

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
