hello,

play actousic guitar in small venues , going start playing pre-recorded accompiament drum track. build 3ft tall robotic puppet drummer play beside me gimmick. wouldn't need robot play drums, need make simple motions , him move beat of music on drum track.

discovered lighshowpi , hoping able accomplish thinking. found following video showing lightshowpi splitting mp3 file in led graphic equalizer.

wondering if possible trigger type of linear actuator or solenoid move puppets arms instead of flashing lights. example, lowest frequency trigger relay on/off , make actuator make puppet twitch kick drum leg. middle frequency trigger 1 arm , highest frequency trigger other arm.

rookie eyes, following video looks accomplishing need.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
