SMF Bridge - 2 Databases - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi installed both joomla , smf , has been ok. managed kinda create bridge there problem. managed find out had have both databases on 1 database..if makes sense.

or allow access eachother taken readme file:

separate databases:
if have installed mambo/joomla , smf fantastico, or installed them in separate databases intentionally, need grant permission database users access each others' databases. if have forum , cms installed in separate databases, , have not granted access properly, run "_login_incomplete" error in joomla.

here's how grant database permissions:

1) go site's cpanel. click on mysql databases. (do not proceed phpmyadmin!)

2) near bottom of page, find 2 dropdown menus side-by-side. 1 labelled "user:" , other "db:".

3) in first dropdown, select smf database user, , in second dropdown, select mambo/joomla database. click button labelled "add user db".

4) go same page again, , same, adding mambo/joomla user smf database.

now set run forum , cms in separate databases.

however i'm using godaddy hosting , see no option allow access each other's databases.

any appreciated.
