Flex for Touch Screen Interfaces

i evaluating using flex development of couple of touch screen kiosk projects. 1 major issue ui elements scroll bars. both these projects, scroll bars design necessity. (for better or worse) looking @ class references not seem clear scroll bars can modified in size. see can skinned, there no indication can go 16 px wide vertical scroller 1 48 px wide.
any thoughts?

i believe can. if lookup source code can change these constants, create own libraries , use them. have learn flex beyond evaluating prove out, done. it's open source, need check out type of license. may able sell proprietary component.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
