Thread: Connect to Ubuntu home folder with Samba in Windows 7

i'm testing waters of windows 7, , i'd connect home folder on ubuntu server. can connect standard samba share, can't figure out how connect 'homes' share.

how can authenticate home folder? think should same among windows oss.

use address \\ubuntu_net_name\your_username

first must add credentials your_username samba user database using smbpasswd.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
