Thread: libjpeg is broken -- how do I fix it?

hello,

messing around swiftweasel , tried install libjpeg7, somehow broke existing package.

program depends on rendering jpegs either crashes of won't display image.

have tried using sudo dpkg-reconfigure did not fix problem.

tried removing libjpeg62 when try package manager wants remove every other package depends on (which several hundred packages).

how can fix libjpeg62 package?

in synaptic, right click -> reinstall?

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
