Customise back-end - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

is there way can customise end?
i want use joomla website of 1 of customers, find menu structure of joomla back-end little bit confusing.

i rename menu points , add links reflects more content of actual homepage , more intuitive customer. there ways ?
will joomla 1.5 support user rights management allows more specific particular user can do?

improved acl planned future versions of joomla, best thing keep close eye on roadmaps (on joomla.org main site) , see features added in version. besides standard user permissions under site > user manager, there no built-in modification of back-end joomla @ time, short of hacking individual php files.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
