Can't get cgi.remote_user from cfc anymore
i'm having trouble getting cgi.remote_user in cfc not returning flex in cfc return flex.
the cfc returns cgi.remote_user when invoked cfm page. flex "" empty. can access cfc flex, can't cgi vars.
it use work flex app using remoteobject until other day, had reinstall os, iis , coldfusion again.
os: window server 2003
iis : 6
coldfusion: 8
don't know if i'm missing iis setting or if left on old fash remoting or cf setup allowing work.
thanks

i have similar issue. have ideas? here scenario:
a user hits application , remoteobject calls cfc. cfc has login query uses cgi.remote_user variable.
select (..user stuff)
from (sometable)
where (remoteuser = '#cgi.remote_user#' (well, in function, idea)
anyway, if invoke using cfm file, result, expected. flex app see's nothing when run it. other queries work fine. if replace #cgi.remote_user# actual text, esc\mcneelg works fine.
thanks.
