Thread: Making certain partition the default boot up os


i installed kubuntu on smaller partition after had ubuntu on computer.

decided prefer ubuntu, computer boots kubuntu default unless make selection each time force go ubuntu.

anyway force computer choose ubuntu default bootup partition?

boot kubuntu , install program called startupmanager (either adept) or in terminal:

sudo apt-get install startupmanager
this give nice graphical interface set of grub options, including default os.
