Thread: New kernel problem, need help.

i accidentally posted first in tutorial thread moderators, sorry, delete if posts

ok now, followed master kernel post make new kernel , im having problem seeing in grub.

system follows..

backtrack 4, ubuntu 9.04, , vista.

edited menu.lst file earlier make "prettier" , on ubuntu distro when did this.. didn't change anything, loaded backtrack, did there, , edited menu.lst... 1 worked!

ok now. made kernel, compiled it, rebooted etc. grub wasn't listing install.. googled, tried "update-grub" command.. saw list new install.. rebooted, once again, nothing effected..

did same thing backtrack 4 distro. update-grub command acted diff though, , said found new version etc gave me text based gui, chose install new... rebooted, didn't see new either.. , im lost..

my boot folder in linux distro has 3 kernels, new 1 missing "abi" file , vm core info file. whats wrong picture?

hi, what's correct implementation sort of thing ? i want add list. content list user entered textbox. contents of textbox put inside list, 1 below other.....i started venture using rowcount property, can't work....i wanted simple alert see current rowcount....i have following code.... import mx.controls.alert; import mx.controls.listclasses.listbase; public function addme():void { alert.show(string(showlist.rowcount)); } but constant value of 7. don't understand how ? you want length of dataprovider. rowcount refers control's visible rows. has nothing data. to add item, use dataprovider api, probablyadditem(). tracy More discussions in Flex (Read Only) adobe
