Stepper Motor Control
hello, first post ever!
well, i'm amazed capabilities of arduino, , wanted make sure best of it. i'll controlling motor (http://motion.schneider-electric.com/downloads/datasheets/34_mtr.pdf, m3424-6.3) driver (http://www.geckodrive.com/g213v.html) , arduino attached. right i'm thinking arduino uno. i've read how should control system, i'm kind of overwhelmed amount of information. wanted ask if have advice take in course of project. i've seen connections of motor other drivers, have different names (for example). also, motor way should use generate pulses in experience.
i wanted know happen if energized motor rated voltage por maximum performance (75 vdc) , less current (anything below 6.5 amp phase).
that's have now. i'm mechanical engineer, , first job motor selection. control of main concern , hope buy rest of elements week, , work them out according advice.
