first of all, joomla ma zing
this cms rocks
i'm having first issue : have main menu on top (above header) , want create drop down menu ie, ff, ...
i have 1 (xhtml, css code) don't think joomla works this.
can me this? in advance!
i forgot mention, installed http://de.siteof.de/detree/extended-menu.html
but don't know how link right now.

you're headed in right direction. extended menu great choice.
you're little off on mosloadmodules function. here explanation of how works: http://www.howtojoomla.net/content/view/11/2/
basically, number used tell joomla style use rendering modules in position. allowed values -3, -2, -1, 0, , 1. link posted explain each 1 does.
the thing need extended menu suckerfish template , incorporate site. there should documentation @ em site explains how that. click here see templates available em.
