Thread: Problems compiling latex in Kile

i'm having problems kile. latex code i'd written (and compiled) in winedit won't work kile, seems of packages used aren't available in kile main issue images post-script (this easiest way make things work winedit) , can gather reading online files need change these pdfs. seems bit of pain - there no way use post-script files directly have been till now?

i've tried adding couple of chapters document in same way have before:
ie \include{discussion} , file discussion.tex. doesn't work, , error no file discussion.aux. i'm sure in windedit aux files generated automatically, need different in kile these aux files?

there seem no files, get: there no documentation available /kile/index.html.

argh! i'm pretty inexperenced both linux , latex, try learn enough need if can appreciated.

have tried compiling terminal? if not posting error message such compilation should lock down error, run

 cd /path/to/the/dir/of/your/tex latex yourtexdoc.tex

also, there no reason why .eps not work , .pdf would. run through plenty of .eps images in documents. guess issue missing package above command tell us.
