have mini 9 netbook running ubuntu desktop 9.04. considering low end computer (1.6 ghz atom , gma 950) suggest me use install , play windows games (spore, american conquest, railroad tycoon 2 , 3, wildlife park 2)?

have examined pure wine solution, cedega , crossover games. it's true... cedega it's expensive compared other 2 (expecially wine ) think simple solution doesn't want spend days configuring game make work. want know...

cedega intelligent understand if have resolution of 1024x600 can't run of games... (because start in 1024x768...) shortly create virtual desktop, run in windowed mode or this??

cedega on netbook works poorly @ best. of menus sized @ least 1024x768 resolution, meaning @ many points (especially during installation) have feel way through menus using tab/enter , hope hitting correct buttons. cedega expect little to-no support (other @ times less friendly forums) netbook not contain nvidia gfx card.

3 of options listed support running games in "virtual desktops" (which on netbook screen limited 640x480) advice give wine ago (its free @ worst costs time) , if not work/gives hard time give codeweavers try. have both cedega & codeweavers, , lets letting cedega membership drop @ end of year great
