Car Speaker with arduino
hi, i'm Álvaro , i'd me
i have car speaker works 12v , 400hz, connected external power supply 12v speaker terminal, , other terminal connected collector of bd241a. base connected pin 9 of arduino provides 400hz pwm signal, , emitter connected ground (common external power , arduino)
my problem sounds low external ps, made me, max output current think 250ma.
so instead of eps connected airsoft battery of 8.4v , 1100mah (it can provide 2/3a it's written), , transistor burned.
what can making sounding louder? transistor can use doesn't burn?
greetings

you cannot drive transitor saturation. (there heat)
use logic level n-channel mosfet.
