Coding a Template - mainmenu - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi there,

i having bit of trouble designing template scratch joomla site.  particularily not sure code include main menu have designed incorporates main menu in joomla.  following excerpt index.php file.  code displays main menu desired on homepage.  however, when go menu manager[mainmenu] none of menu items code included there.

if kindly tell me additional code need add make function desired, appreciate it.

you don't need make "hard" coding in page as  figured sample.
use menu manager instead (from administrator>menus>menu manager>menus items)

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
