Arduino max cable length to HC595

hi folks,

i trying solve problem way beyond me.
i have arduino uno connected remote panel 15 meters away regular twisted pairs.

this panel contains:
-2x 74hc595 shift registers
-bunch of leds
-ir receiver sensor

what experience shift registers doesn't seems work , triple checked wires multimeter.
the infra sensor working loses lot of signals (have push button many times see results on ardu)

when panel directly connected had no difficulties. know there other solutions solve distance problem without wires using second arduino , let 2 communicate through rf don't want put more time project want work.

i solved this, problem 1 device small motor took load shared power supply , made electronic act weird.
any time turned motor off working expected.
