Thread: my M-audio KeyRig 49 isn't showing up

okay, have m-audio keyrig 49 midi keyboard, , want use software have on here, problem whenever plug in , turn on, nothing happens. no input messages, nothing saying have connected, absolutely nothing.

keep in mind i'm running on ubuntu studio 9.04 jaunty jackalope

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
