Size of packet send between an IOS and a Read bear BLE shield +Arduino Mega2560

hello .

i trying connect iphone 4s , ble redbear shield.now connected each other don't know how many byte in 1 packet send 4s ble shield , vice versa...(i mean downloading , uploading)

by writing serial.println(sizeof.....) couldn't show thing in output. let me know how can measure size of these packets?
