Thread: Help with memory hole.

i'm running ubuntu ultimate edition 64 bit on hp pavillion desk top amd athlon x2 nvidia graphics. @ boot message no memory hole enabled , cost x amount of ram. , how can fix it? in system information says have 3.5gb of ram when hace 4gb installed.

if remember right, amd pacific. memory hold (half gig in case) reserved system , cannot used standard ram. not enabling memory hole not allowing system use ram , goes unused. said, if remember right. run intel maybe amd expert come along , better job of explaining this...
