Permisions to edit templates on ftp - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i can't edit templates on ftp, not if set schmod 777. not templates other css files aswell.

check owner of file , directory ownership not apache, nobody or 99. ownership of file , directory user made it, , in unix group user belongs to. if on unix, when list files in ftp program, might have option in ftp software show user/group information.

you need either ssh in , chown files , directory user name or contact hosting provider chown directory , files.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
