Steering wheel remote audio control

good day.
i'm trying figure out how translate resistance getting steering wheel audio cotrol buttons (swc) resistance pattern 1 understandable audio head unit via remote control input.

hu sony xav-601bt. it's rc-input compatible sony rm-x4s remote controller resistive buttons. scheme below (scheme same both pioneer , sony hu):

swc resistance buttons pattern unkown. couldn't find info resistor nominals , controlling resistance on 2-wire cable connected stock hu. car subaru forester sg9 2.5xt '05 , stock hu subaru gx806ef2 (oem kenwood).

rear panel terminals scheme (sorry quality, it's best 1 found)

swc wires on 8-pin harness. using subaru's pin numbering, it's pins 2 (+) , 6 (-).
looking @ rear:
__--__
4  3  2   1
8  7  6  5

so idea connect 2 wires arduino read resistance regarding buttons on swc. program arduino specific reaction output resistance each command sony hu.

so question: there straightway "generate" resistance arduino?

thanks in advance.

no, need resistor.
