Libraries for controlling DDS RF Synthesizer Modules

after having used "dds modules" (based on ad9850 device) under arduino control in many of amateur radio projects, i've published libraries simplify use...

there general library, https://github.com/m0xpd/dds, uses soft spi interface , special library arduino due, https://github.com/m0xpd/duedds, uses hardware spi.

first of thank library , description you've posted. great work.
easy read, easy follow , got me watering mouth while reading it.

but have bother questions ask you seem "expert enough" have answers.
as consider create musical instrument, synthesizer, ask myself if this, chip library, job.
i dont know how of things have do, keen done.
right brother , build arduino based 16 step sequenzer, , wihle researching related stuff found website sells ad9850 breakout board isnt expensive.  http://www.ebay.de/itm/281274553982 or "better" one?


questions have are
- can use use "industrial produced musical instrument"? wich means
- chip has capabilities generate envelopes produce complex sound?
- how edit parameters if chip capable that? potis attached 1 of pins , via shift register or such?
- need amplifier on outputs of board connect line mixer?
- make sense invest in due if questions above can answered positve way?
- more coffee?
