Arduino GSM shield + Arduino Uno

dear all:

i need project based on gsm shield..
i want switch on , off 4 appliance using sms /dtmf call.
task 1:
doing sms like    "appliance 1 on"        or               "appliance 2 on "               ............ on particular device.
similarly sms like      "appliance 1 off"  or     "appliance 2 off"       ............ off particular device.

task 2:
if call on gsm shield want receive call automatically on pressing 1,2,3,4 during call   then should on 4 appliance , on pressing  5,6,7,8 during call should off 4 appliances using dtmf.

i want these both task in single code.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
