Thread: Terminal font much too small

as comes terminal font size 6, small me read. bringing window full size not enlarge font. view submenu says enlarge ctrl & + (it uses ambiguous ctrl++). many times i've tried + key on numeric keypad , failed. keypad turned on. discovered done ctrl & shifted =\+ key on keyboard. wierdness cubed ?
1. there way put "switch" on terminal comes
larger font ?
2. explanation why keyboard =+ key works not + key on numeric keypad ?
i'm using ubuntu 9.04 thanks.

try - open terminal, click edit >> profiles. under general tab, un-check "use system fixed width font" box, click font, , change font , size prefer. click close when finished. terminal should come everytime using font.

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
