Thread: Network reconfiguration after change of motherboard
hi,
used via ciii board xubuntu network onboard (eth0) , usb nw-adapter (eth1). changed intels atom board, of course onboard nw. ifconfig calls eth3 (or pan0, seems me, pan0 else, don't know what).
network manager doesn't find sufficent way work card, not fixed-ip nw , not (a)dsl. pppoe-config doesn't see adsl nac, testing eth3 , pan0 too.
i'm on suse, don't know how configure network on xubuntu, first delete somewhere hidden old entries seem disturb thing...

you need go /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
delete devices & reboot can detected new.
