Thread: A good webcam for Linux?

i must admit come subject no prior experience, i've no idea expect. want webcam both video , audio, , works on kubuntu. setup here desktop system 22" lcd monitor. 4 rear usb ports pretty packed capacity (apparently 4 being considered trade-off can have 6 legacy ports never use), though suppose shall have sacrafice unless find way expand capacity through daisy-chaining.

live in uk, of course best find can british supplier. i'm not sure think of in terms of price, though i'd aiming go below £50 (which seems realistic), though stretch £100 if end being shown really one.

a few months looking @ several, , ended testing out several. settled on logitech quickcam communicate mp plus.

it's not high-end, works under linux , has both audio/video. think paid around $40 usd it..?

i have laptop dead motherboard . can remove components laptop , in anyway possible connect raspberry pi inbuilt display , keyboard on laptop ? (and touchpad if possible).
